We throw, glaze and fire everything here, in a workshop a few kilometres from Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Nothing is bought elsewhere and resold: if you see it in the shop, it came out of our kiln.

The place
Why ceramics matter around here
The Sorrento peninsula and the Amalfi Coast have lived alongside ceramics for centuries: yellow lemons, Vietri blue, tiled bell towers. The craft never stopped here — but today it risks being squeezed between printed souvenirs and pieces trucked in from far away.
We sit on the other side of that. Our green is not the lemon yellow you expect: it comes from glazes we mix by hand, and it is the reason our pieces are recognisable without reading a label.

From the kiln to the shop counter

Plates and dishes
For serving, for the wall, for keys and coins. The uneven rims are left on purpose: when the glaze runs in the kiln we don’t correct it, it is the piece signing itself.

Vases and mosaics
Vases clad in tesserae cut from broken ceramics — ours, and the ones people bring us. Every tile comes from a plate somebody had already thrown out.

Mirrors and wall pieces
Ceramic and mosaic frames on salvaged mirrors. These are the pieces people buy at the end of a holiday, once they realise they would regret leaving them.

Decorative pieces
Fish, lemons, leaves and small hand-painted figures. They cost little, weigh nothing, and are usually what ends up in the suitcase.

- 01 From Sorrento
About ten minutes by car on the road to Massa Lubrense, or on the local buses linking Sorrento to Massa: get off in the town and walk the last stretch.
- 02 From the Amalfi Coast
From Positano and Amalfi you come through Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi and drop down to Massa Lubrense. It is the detour worth taking before heading back.
- 03 On foot from the centre
If you are already in town you can walk. Check the hours before setting off: we are closed on Sundays, and we open in the afternoon only on Friday and Saturday.

The shop and who we areWhat everyone asks
Are the ceramics really made here?
Yes: thrown, glazed and fired in the Massa Lubrense workshop by the two of us. We don’t resell anybody else’s work.
Can they be used at the table?
Plates and bowls yes, washed by hand with mild soap. Avoid the dishwasher, the oven and the microwave: hand-mixed glazes and sudden temperature changes don’t get along.
Can I buy online and have it shipped?
No. This site is a shop window: purchase and payment happen in the shop. We can, however, hold a piece until you come by.
Do you make bespoke pieces?
Yes, and wedding favours too. Both have a page of their own where we explain how it works.
How do you pack for a flight?
We wrap in recycled paper and hemp twine, plastic-free, and add extra protection for fragile pieces. Tell us when you buy: we know how a suitcase gets packed.
