The dress you no longer wear, the linen from a trousseau, the curtain taken down after a move, your grandmother’s broken necklace. Almost anything sitting in a wardrobe can go back to being something you use daily: a bag, a cushion, a pendant. We decide together, with the thing in our hands.

Where we start
This is not customisation, it is salvage
We don’t hand you a list of models and let you change the colour. We look at the material you have — how much there is, what condition it is in, where it is worn — and work out what it can become. It is the same way everything else in the catalogue is born; the only difference is that you brought the material.
Sometimes the answer is "this tablecloth gives two bags and four pouches". Sometimes it is "this cloth won’t survive cutting, but the lining will". We say so straight away: we would rather turn something down at the start than hand over a piece that won’t last.

Bags from your fabric
From a dress, a curtain, a tapestry or an old pair of jeans. Handles, lining and clasp are chosen together from the salvaged hardware we keep in the workshop.

Jewellery brought back
Broken necklaces, odd earrings, vintage buttons. We take them apart and build something new, keeping the parts that mean something to you.

Ceramics to measure
Plates, vases, plaques and house numbers in our glazes. One shape, one colour, a hand-painted line: we always start from a test piece.

Gifts for groups and companies
Matching sets for colleagues, clients or wedding parties. Same workmanship, larger numbers — this one needs more notice.
How it works
- 01 You show it to us
Come to the shop with the material, or send us a photo on Instagram if you live far away. Looking at it costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
- 02 We tell you what it yields
How many pieces, which shape, what is not possible. If there is not enough material we top it up with our own fabrics and show you first.
- 03 Price and timing, in writing
A clear quote with a date. You confirm in the shop with a deposit; the balance is paid on collection, like any other purchase here.
- 04 We work, and keep you posted
On bigger pieces we send a photo halfway through: if something doesn’t convince you, there is still time to change it.

do not do.
We don’t do conservation work: a valuable antique textile belongs with a restorer, not with us. We don’t reproduce other people’s brands or designs. We don’t work with damaged, mouldy or badly worn material, because the finished piece would not last.
And we don’t ship: collection is always in the shop. This site is a shop window, not an online store — there is no basket and nothing is paid for here.

What everyone asks
What does a bespoke piece cost?
About the same as an equivalent piece in the catalogue, plus the extra work needed to adapt your material. If you bring the fabric, you don’t pay for that part. The quote comes after we have seen the material.
How long does it take?
Three to five weeks for a single piece, longer for sets. The workshop is busier in summer: if you need it for a particular date, say so at the start.
What if I don’t like the result?
That is exactly why we show a sample before starting, or a photo halfway through. Bespoke work carries no right of withdrawal, so we would rather stop one time too many before cutting.
Can I post the material to you?
Better not: we don’t handle shipping. If you are far away, send photos on Instagram first; if the idea stands up, we arrange to hand it over at the shop in Massa Lubrense.
What happens to the leftover material?
It comes back to you with the finished piece. If you would rather leave it with us it ends up in something else — which is how half the catalogue came about.
