Small glazed ceramics, pouches sewn from reclaimed fabric, pendants made from salvaged brass. We make them one at a time in our workshop in Massa Lubrense, cut to the size of your celebration: no two boxes alike, and no catalogue everyone else has already used.

How they start
We start from the party, not from a catalogue
The first thing we ask is not how many you need, but what the day looks like. The colour of the tables, the season, the venue, whether the reception is in a garden or indoors: those are what decide whether the favour becomes an emerald-glazed dish, a printed linen pouch or a small mirror.
From there we make two or three real proposals — not a rendering — and show them to you in the shop. Once you pick one, that becomes the sample: everything else is made to match it, with the small differences handwork always brings.
Material
Three possible routes
You can stay on one, or mix them: it happens often that adult guests get the ceramic piece and the children get the pendant.

Glazed ceramics
Small dishes, hearts, little vases and candle holders, thrown and fired in the workshop. We mix the glazes by hand — the sage and emerald greens are ours — and the kiln never returns them quite the same.

Reclaimed fabrics
Pouches and small purses sewn from upholstery offcuts, family linens and quilted cloth. Right for sugared almonds, and above all reusable: once the party is over they stay around the house instead of at the back of a cupboard.

Brass and hardware
Pendants, bookmarks and keyrings made from discarded clasps, chains and fittings. Cleaned, annealed and put back to work: they have weight in the hand, and you can tell they never came out of a mould.
How it works in practice
Nothing is ordered online: we talk in person or by phone, and you pay in the shop.
- 01 Call us or come by
Ring 081 277 8282 or come during opening hours. Bring a photo of the invitations or of the colours you have chosen — that is enough for us to understand.
- 02 We make samples
Usually two or three proposals, ready in about ten days. You see them in person, handle them, and change whatever does not convince you.
- 03 We fix quantity and price
The quote is written down and does not move. You leave a deposit in the shop when you confirm, and settle the balance on collection.
- 04 You collect them, wrapped
We hand everything over in recycled paper and hemp twine, sorted the way you need it for the favour table. No plastic.

that becomes the favour.
It is the request we get most often and the one we enjoy most: your grandmother’s tablecloth, a trousseau never used, a curtain from the house. We cut them and sew them into as many pouches as there are guests, so everyone takes home a piece of the same story.
It needs enough length and fabric still in good health: bring it to the shop, we look at it together and tell you straight away how many pieces it yields.

What everyone asks
What is the minimum quantity?
Roughly twenty pieces, though it depends on what you choose: on simpler ceramics we go lower, on heavily worked pieces we prefer to stay higher. Ask us — it is not a rigid rule.
How far ahead should I get in touch?
Six to eight weeks is comfortable. Under a month we can only work with models we have already made and in small numbers: from May to September the workshop is full, so earlier is better.
How much do they cost?
It depends on material and workmanship, and the price drops as the number rises. The quote is free and we give it in the shop once we have seen the sample together: we would rather tell you a real figure than a "from €X".
Can you add names or a date?
Yes — on ceramics we can paint a date, an initial or a short phrase. On fabric pouches we use hand-written recycled paper tags.
Do you ship?
No. Collection is at the shop in Massa Lubrense, Italy: we prepare everything and tell you when it is ready. There are no orders and no payments on this website.
Will they all be identical?
They will all be consistent, not identical. Glazes and reclaimed fabrics carry small differences from one piece to the next: that is exactly how you can tell they were made by hand.
