- Material card included: where the piece came from
The piece
The clay is laid over a leaf picked in the garden and pressed by hand; the leaf burns away in the kiln and the cast remains. That is why every dish has different veins.
Poured green glaze, which pools in the hollows and lightens at the edges. The ladybird is modelled separately and applied before the second firing.

How to care for it
Wash by handWarm water and mild soap. No dishwasher: hand-mixed glazes don’t take hot cycles.
Not for the hob or the ovenThese are decorative and cold-table pieces, not cookware.
Mind the edgesGlaze and tesserae chip if knocked. A felt pad under the base prevents scratches.
